The food from here is lovely but it is let down massively by it's woeful delivery service which can take up to several hours during busy periods. I waited three hours on a Saturday, evening . Only to find that we had been given the wrong order when our food eventually arrived. I did complain and was promised that the manager would ring back. Unfortunately I'm still waiting for the call

Visiting family this way and ordered a takeaway and we were so disappointed. The curries were either too spicy for what we ordered or not spicy enough for what that person wanted. The flavour of the meat was bland and the side dishes were nothing like I have seen or eaten before. Strikes me to be brought in food that was ready made off site as didn't taste look or feel freshly made. I have been told this resturant has been open for years so only 3 reviews strikes me as bizarre too. I wouldn't eat here again and neither would my family now.

Yesterday was a special occasion and I decided to make a pretty large order, the order was processed at 8:41pm but not delivered until 10:11pm, the restaurant close at 10:30. once the food was delivered a bottle of cola was missing and the food was cold/warm and that one was the worst surprise, after a couple of hours (11/12) pm in fact me and my partner start to felt sick with vomit and diarrhea. The restaurant was close so impossible to call, this morning was again impossible to comtact the restaurant (open at 5 pm) so I ask for help to HungryHouse support that unfortunately couldn't do anything for my same reason. Well at the end I paid over £ 30 to have an horrible meal that forced me on the loo for 2 days!!!! Never ever again!

Fantastic menu, lots of choice, the freshest meat I've ever had from a takeaway, and portions so generous you won't need extras! Shapla Tandoori are now my favourite Indian takeaway. Highly recommended.
