The fish well it's fresh and big portions... the kebab meat is nice and thick... lovely n clean place.. staff are all welcoming and polite.. I've never had an issue with Mr fry always good quality food thank you.. I also travel from hoo to get there food better than Mccoys.. pic is a medium cod and chips
I was stuck in the cold waiting for a lift so I just popped in for a quick bite to eat, the chips tasted lovely, perfect colour for my taste, all the chicken looked fresh. I would definitely pop in again if I was in the area.
Really nice staff and it seems like a well organised place. The fish and chips were good with my order ready relatively quickly. Happy to take my order as a walk in though they appeared well set up for online orders for delivery and looked quite popular on that side. They take cash or card and there are a few seats to use while you wait. I found a space to park in the lay-by for the row of shop so hassle free. Thanks!
We ordered at 19:18 a total price of £45+ on the FH APP which said it would arrive at 20:00. The food turned up at 20:45 COLD! The best part is we ordered 10 chicken strips and got 7 and no drinks to go with lite meals. I called to ask why my order was incorrect and was told we're really busy tonight and next time you order we will give you a discount. I replied why is it my fault you were busy and if you could not complete my order why did you take my money? I then replied I won't be ordering again..... I paid for a service I never got and when I asked why I just got nothing but when you order next time we will give you a discount. Why would I order again after that experience of ordering food from a chip shop which took almost 1 hour and 30 mins to arrive!!! NO THANKS very poor customer service and I will not order again from MR FRY.
£17.10 worth of dog food! Second time, ordered from here first time, benefit of the doubt please don't bother!!!! Before posting this review, we ask them to come back to collect the food, which they refused! Very unhappy regarding, spending money on an meal we couldn't eat. Mr frys, has no customer service skills, they couldn't careless, that we was unhappy with what was delivered, .. completely vile food completely vile, that we couldn't get our money back or speak regarding our complaint.
Fantastic chip shop. They have a good awareness of gluten intolerance and can sometimes offer alternative fish in rice flour instead batter. Always best to go in person the first time, but delivery is always speedy.
Worst fish and chips shop I was greeted with rude customer service after watching those who came after me get service. Bad so bad they appear to be RACIST!
Yum yum yum....the best cod n chips in a long long time! The cod was huge! The fish was succulent with perfect crispy golden batter and the chips were traditional tasting with a mix of chunky and crispy ones - all perfectly cooked! 5***
