I love this place but it is quite unusual. They have refurbished the Raven Pub in North Penlan. The first restaurant was the Thai Phoenix, that has been changed to the Shanghai Chef but it is basically the same all you can eat Thai restaurant. The food is fantastic, especially the starters. It is a very casual place, the decor is tired and it is definitely a bit rough and ready. If you can get over that the food is really tasty. Reasonably priced too.

Hands down the best Chinese food we've ever had. Great prices, outstanding quality, couldn't be better. We drive over 10 miles to pick ours up because nowhere else compares. I'd give 10 stars if I could. ❤️

Me and my partner come here atleast once a month as a treat. The place never disappoints, fresh food, friendly staff reasonable prices. Would recommend
