At first i wasnt sure how this place is.. when i ate their food it was soo good and i love the jamun in the desserts.
The most petty manager I've ever met all on top of a former closure order... I never leave bad reviews but this was all too much. I've been going to Shan for years now. Every time I would arrive the manager would try make me order from the a la carte menu despite advertising an early bird ment outside. He tried to refuse me the early bird menu on many occasions. The restaurant also was served a food closure order a few years ago. The bathroom has often been left in an awful state when I went. Today was the last straw. I'll never be back. On a positive note, there's lots of great other Indian restaurants in Dublin where the staff are friendly and professional. Avoid this place at all costs...
Very poor quality of food. We first ordered Mango Lassi and it was more milk than yoghurt & pulp. Next the main course was very bland and had no appropriate mix of spice. The Naan that we had ordered was cold and very chewy. Definitely a not recommended place.
Shan was a great restaurant once upon a time. I went there last night for the first time in over a year, it was a huge disappointment. The tandoori chicken came with just one small breast piece, the rest was on the bone and there was barely any meat on it at all. Basically, €15 for a plate of bones covered in spices. There are many great restaurants in Dublin, go somewhere else.
We went there just before 4am. Ordered the food for take away and when we got to our apartment we found out that they gave us about 1/4 of what we ordered. Also, they gave us no legal bill so we found out that everything the sell is black market food. Never go there . Ever .
OMG I cant recommend this Indian restaurant enough it's the best by far in the city centre food is amazing Brilliant prices doesnt close till 4 in the morning so great after a night out plus all the staff that work there are Brilliant so nice and friendly
I went tonight with my friends in Shan Indian restaurant which was amazing delicious food and excellent service . Waiters are so friendly I recommend to everyone to go there if they want really delicious food. With excellent service.
The food is the best iv ever tasted. I couldn't fault anything. Perfect from start to finish. 100% service & food.
I came with a friend at Shan Indian Restaurant . Food was very delicious and service was exceptionally great. I ordered chicken chilli masala and garlic nan, it was so awesome.
Been thr last week had great late night meal really enjoyed. Definitely i would like to recommend to everyone
