Friendly and relaxed atmosphere, clean showers, nice little library, bus route just up the road and Shrewsbury on the doorstep ... What more could one want?

Have just come back from a wonderful weekend at this site. My parents frequent there a lot in their caravan and this weekend we joined them in our tent with our three children.
We were situated in the orchard which was the perfect spot for us, felt like our own little world situated amongst all the fruit trees which the kids loved (picking their own apples and pears and eating them fresh (with the owners permission)).

The facilities are basic, but have everything you need and are very clean. There is a pub across the road where we popped over for a drink while the kids had a play on the park, fairly reasonable prices.

The owners are a lovely family. There was a bit of a noisy camper shall we say on one of the nights but we informed the owners and they swiftly and tactfully sorted the situation.

Ive no doubt we will return to this site, just hope the weather was as good as this time!

Only 10 minutes drive from Shrewsbury and 5 minutes walk from the nearest pub. We stayed for 3 nights over a bank holiday. Toilets are basic and could do with a hand drier or paper towels. I'm not too keen on using a hand towel that many other people have used ( but maybe thats just me )
