Were camping close by so we're thankful for the warm welcome by staff and a lovely wood burning fire. The interior is old fashioned but very comfortable. We ordered food which arrived promptly and it was fabulous. I'd definitely recommend the burger. We played pool with the kids and then walked back to the camp site (spring rock fishery). Definitely going back in a couple of days.

We went here when we were stranded in Wales from the snow. We went past this when returning from trying to get home . Warm log fire on a snowy weekend. Farmers Sunday roasts portion was immense and quality was there. Chef was suppose to finish at 6pm but knowing our situation cooked at 6:30pm. He even waited for us to finish and cooked desserts for us all (Party of 7) Staff polite and helpful. I would recommend this pub to anyone.

Visited with the family while we were staying at springrock fishery, great food, big open fire and welcoming landlord, staff and locals. Recommend to anyone staying nearby or passing through.

Enjoyed a drink sitting in the beer garden.....lovely setting. Friendly country pub 👍🏻

Popped in for something to eat on the way to the dams. We were early so the place was quiet so food came out quickly. Place was very cosy,spotlessly clean and food was spot on. Highly recommended and wouldn't hesitate to call in again.
