Funerals and funeral arrangements, are, thankfully not something most of us have much, or if any experience of I imagine. Selim Smith guided me through the pro's and con's of the funeral procedures, and the legal requirements attached to losing our 92 year old mother. Alternatives to 'religious' ceremonies were discussed, although mum was broadly C of E, she wasn't a practising christian, and put in place together with an excellent celebrant, who was equally as sensitive to our requirements as the Selim Smith staff. At the end of the day of mothers' funeral, everyone without exception commented on the wonderful ceremony. Thank you again to all concerned. A highly recommended company.
An amazing team who helped us at every step, always quick to respond to queries and made everything so easy during a difficult time while planning mums funeral. A special thanks to Elaine who was our main contact and dealt with the process perfectly and with compassion from start to finish. The day of mums funeral was managed very well and we felt comfortable that everything was in good hands, family members also commented on how respectful the cortège were.
The service given by Selim Smith & Co to my late wife was first class , a raw and emotional time was made more bearable by the professional attention offered by all members of staff at the Prestbury Road site, particularly Toby, John and Elaine. I have no hesitation in my recommendation of their service.
To Chris Parsons and all the staff of Selim Smith I thank you sincerely for all your help,guidance and support at a difficult time. The level of care and dignity throughout at such an overwhelming time is beyond words. Chris was undoubtedly professional, thoughtful and supportive. Thank-you. W.Bullock.

And a huge thankyou to Craig for making sure mums funeral, and mum and grans internment went smoothly, you have always been professional and down to earth, you make everything so easy and explained things.
