I cannot praise the team at Merstow Green highly enough.  I have been trying to capture in a few short sentences a service that is provided when your world has been turned upside down by bereavement.  Carol Phillips and the rest of her team immediately became honorary members of our family - cups of tea, tissues and a reassuring word. But they also understood us, they were there when we needed them and they knew what would be 'just right'.  I could use so many words to try to capture the understanding they extended to our family but if I had to pick just three it would be kindness, compassion and professionalism.

I have recently finished a weeks work experience with Philip and his team. I cannot stress enough what a first class, caring, dignified and genuine service they offer. The staff are hugely committed to their work and really pull out all of the stops to ensure that everything is cared for to the best possible standard. I will miss the friendly welcome I always received but will still pop my head around the door when I'm passing. When I do lose a loved one I will feel 100% re assured that in the care of these people the terrible time of losing someone will be eased knowing that everything is taken care of by this company in the best possible way.

I recently chose Phillip and team for my father's funeral, having used their services for three previous family burials.  They showed kindness, patience, sensitivity and an attention to detail that cannot be bettered.  Their support and professionalism made a very difficult time just that little bit easier and I cannot praise them highly enough.

Philip and team have arranged 2 close family funerals fro me this year, and I have been to 3 more in 2011 thstthis firm have arranged.The kindness and support shown is excellent and professional throughout. The comment by Simon is unfair in my opinion as Philips professinalism was the same when he traded form The Leys, and his local adverts make no claims tthat have ever confused or misled me.
