Such a nice shopping centere inside walthamstow market. You have everything like asda, tkmaxx, jewelry, dress... And many more.
Located near Walthamstow Central Bus and Tube Station, this is a very small shopping centre that exits onto one of the largest outdoor markets in London. A few high street stores are located here, including Boots and Asda. Between the indoor and outdoor shopping areas, you can spend a few hours exploring. The bus terminal outside provides access to most of London and Waltham Forest, and the tube a direct link to Central London. A Travelodge Hotel is located right next to the station if you are planning on staying in the area.
Perfect for a shopping spree whether you're looking for food, clothes, shoes, bags, cosmetics etc. I often go here first before heading to Central London to check whether I can find what I am looking for. In terms of sitting down to eat or drink coffee, I think there isn't much space during busy periods and maybe this needs reviewing. Anyway, would recommend to anyone coming to the area.
The mall is clean, modern, and well-maintained. The selection of stores includes popular high street brands as well as independent boutiques, and there are also several cafes and restaurants for a quick bite or a leisurely meal. The mall is easily accessible by public transport, with several bus routes and a nearby train station. Overall, I would highly recommend a visit to 17 and Central for anyone looking for a convenient and enjoyable shopping experience in Walthamstow.
Glad to see it's finally recovering from the fire. I worked there in 2017 when it happened and the unit my store was in has finally got a reopening date with a new Black Sheep Coffee! When it's your local centre you always want it to do well and I think it's looking better than ever.
If you're coming here for the first time, it's an absolute nightmare. There's no signage in the carpark to inform you of where you are. I went by maps looking for Asda. I had to ask a local so I could even determine where the entrance to the shops was from the car park. Once inside there was again no signage to point you on the direction of the shops. I paid £2.00 for a grand total of 11 minutes in this car park.
it is a very nice place and there are many shops for every choice, as well as cafes and restaurants, there are also activities for children in the park
Had a couple of hours to kill, went round it and had an hour and a half to kill. Oh the CAR PARK is not free. I found that out the hard way, no signs going into the carpark for Asda that it's a paying car park until you park up and walk to the shops then you start to see some signs.
There was a variety of things. I did purchase all that I needed. Shelfs are fully packed. Saffs was helpful, pleasant, and approachable.
It is still a work in progress after the fire back in 2019, and as such, it can be unattractive in places, but it is getting there slowly. The new customer amenities opened last week, and the urinals in gent’s toilets have been out of use from day one. On the bright side, apart from the big chain stores like ASDA, TK Maxx, Sports Direct, Blue Inc., etc., there are some new small, independent businesses which is good to see, and I wish them all to make it big soon.
