I used to walk past this place all the time but never actually went in. Recently, though, I went with some friends for an R&B night, and we all had a great time. It had a cool vibe, pretty decor, and different variety of restaurants/vendors to choose from.
Nestled beneath the elevated tracks at Shoreditch High Street station, Boxpark Shoreditch offers a vibrant, centrally-located hub of food and drink in East London. With an industrial-chic aesthetic—shipping-container units stacked across two levels—it’s stylish without being stuffy. nnFood lovers will find a diverse palette of delicious options. Whether you’re craving a hearty burger or vegan-friendly Mexican street food, the variety is impressive: Italian pasta, Jamaican jerk, Japanese-style sushi and fusion stands all sit side-by-side. The open-air dining level features communal bench tables where you can mix and match dishes from several vendors—a relaxed way to explore new flavours. nnBeyond the food, Boxpark’s central location makes it extremely convenient. Just a five-minute walk from London Liverpool Street station and directly adjacent to Shoreditch High Street Overground, you’re well placed for a meal, drink or catch-up session before heading elsewhere in the city. nnIn short: Boxpark Shoreditch is a lively, taste-rich destination with something for everyone—ideal for enjoying varied, delicious food in a buzzing, centrally accessible spot.
I didn't really like the layout of this Boxpark, especially compared to the other ones in London.nnIt has a long row of individual shops on the outside of the building, which all have their own indoor seating area inside. As a result, some are really busy with no places to sit, whereas others are completely empty.nnThe indoor first floor has a large open plan, seating area, and a few food outlets inside. Personally, I would have preferred to see more food places in this section, rather than having lots of individual shops outside, in a long row.nnThe building was pretty clean and well maintained, as were the toilets. Overall, it was okay, but I probably wouldn't visit this Boxpark again.
We went there for the Europa Cup final between Spurs and Man Utd and the atmosphere was electric. I might be biased of course because it was 95% Spurs supporters, however the banter was great. The staff were amazing, the bar was never too full regardless of the situation, and they put on a great music event afterwards for those who really wanted to celebrate, and oh boy did we want to celebrate. I mean it’s been 17 years. Great bar, would go there in a second again to watch another final. Let’s just hope it’s not so long to wait next time.
Loved the vibe at Boxpark ShoreditchGreat energy, so many food options, and such a fun place to hang out with friends. Always something happening here
