Probably the best dim sum restaurant in Scotland and I have tried almost all in Central Scotland. Large, airy and spacious. Food is delicious and authentic - seriously as good and maybe better than what you can get in Hong Kong today. Portions are generous. The selection of dishes is huge. Staff is quick, efficient and friendly. The dining area is huge it's as big as some small theaters and clean. Thankfully the menu is in both English and Chinese so everyone can enjoy the delights this restaurant offers. There is plentiful on-site parking. Very highly recommended!
Very generous portion. Comes with free house soup which was so tasty and free house dessert and oranges too for dinner. The food was tasty.
So sad, it has closed down permanently! Excited to try their dim sum here. It was delicious and authentic! Definitely will come back for more. :
Very good authentic Chinese food. I really enjoyed it - and I have quite some experience with authentic Chinese food. Staff speaks both fluent English and Chinese. The restaurant looks very classic Chinese and is ideal for large groups. The main hall is vast. The site may require a bit of refurbishment to look really great again. The staff is very flexible and accommodated our group of 13 people comfortably even when we showed up without reservation. My young daughter loved the place and would give it 5 stars. Free WiFi is included.
Great authentic Chinese food highly recommended
Visited the SeeWoo supermarket, I can't speak for the restaurant. Staff were nice. It was my first visit and had been told good things about the supermarket. Despite the sprawling floorspace, much of it was unused and at the time of my visit - a Sunday evening - stock of most items was very low or completely absent. I do not know if this was a result of the covid pandemic or a regular occurrence. Unfortunately I will avoid visiting again until I hear that stocks and selection have improved.
Delicious food and friendly staff
The biggest eastern convenient store in Glasgow There is a lot of stuff on most everything you can find here
Been here a few times a while back but after the most recent visit I think I'll be giving it a miss from now on. We popped in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon but what a disappointment it was. Service was ok, but the food was very poor and rushed out with some of it undercooked. The dim sum was ok but the noodles accompanied with the lukewarm pork and duck were half cooked. Unfortunately half cooked and lukewarm food isn't a great experience so the SeeWoo is off the list from now on.
Amazing dim sum. It is a Chinese restaurant for Chinese people, and the quality of the ingredients is helped by the fact it is right next to a Chinese specialist supermarket. The one possible downside is that it might be easier having a Chinese speaking friend to help order. The service is quick, the food excellent. If you have babies or young kids the staff are excellent with them, providing a high chair as well as having a fish tank to go an distract them with. Reasonably priced. Large restaurant so can fit a lot of people in. Car parking is large, however sometimes might need to go a little bit away to the overspill car park if it is busy. Highly recommend.
