A great service at Edinburgh this week. Will be using drop and go again when I return. Parked outside office and left 2 mins later on bus to airport. Returned to a very cold -4 car which was brought back outside office and defrosted for me. Superb service and very nice staff. Highly recommended.
Awesome experience on the early morning of 15th October. I am so grateful to the driver who drove back to get my wife’s mobile. Can’t be thankful enough. Parking was full but no qualms as it is cheaper and accessible compared to other parking.nnNote to Management: Super Awesome customer service by the driver in the era we only hear “ We will try our best” . Kudos to the driver and the team that recruits such considerate drivers.
This place is really cheap for a reason folks - don't take the chance wasting your hard earned cash, read the reviews about damage and the negligence from this business and avoid it. I used this facility for the first time last month , in October as the Drop&Go service came up cheapest for my 8 days of travel. I traditionally use Flying Scot who are excellent! or Edi Airport itself and have never had any issues of any form across the 4/5 times I travel pa. I returned to the UK with significant damage to my car on 5th October, was asked to complete an incident report form and someone would be in touch, photos were taken by the member of staff present of the damage. I received no contact in over a week, and had to call 5 times in just the one evening just to get through to someone who could speak to me about it- was actually asked repeatedly to call back also, no ownership was taken to help me. When I finally managed to speak to someone who supposedly was the right person the response was a confusing, incompetent mess. I work for a blue chip company in my day job, as well as being a small business ownerironically in a very similar capacity to this and I am utterly disgusted and gobsmacked by the treatment and level of service that was provided. For 4 weeks I have repeatedly asked what caused the damage to my car, to no avail. It has been admitted in writing, the damage obviously occurred in their compound, but that they do not check the CCTV footage, as they do not have the capacity to do so can't be bothered. They claim they have checked the footage of when my car was moved from their office to their compound on day 1, and day 7 before my return where a member of staff has driven the car, which is less than 5 minutes of footage. My car was on their property for 8 days. When I questioned this repeatedly I was advised by the 'manager' Richard Santandreu that this 5 minute footage is all they deem to be relevant. When I questioned relevant to whom- not to me as the paying customer who has a damaged vehicle, Richard advised me he was concluding my case and I will receive no further response from him, despite the fact I didn't provide permission to conclude anything, I have no answers. What's even more worrying is that the 'supervisor' Calan Graham got the model of my car incorrect in writing 3 times, and in 4 weeks they have still been unable to answer which car model they have reviewed footage of - doesn't sound like they reviewed anything at all right? Secure Airparks have overly stated on every review left here that they are only liable where a member of staff causes damage to the car, which is correct but they don't investigate if that is even the case. My car could have been damaged at any point across the 8 days by a member of staff, from driving another vehicle and parking/ moving to and from the compound next to mines, but they refuse to help their customers where a damage complaint has been made. In the instances where a customer doesn't use Drop&Go, it can also still be damaged by a member of staff- but they advise as you can see from their very re-assuring not responses that they do not keep the car keys therefore damage cannot occur in any other form.... which is obviously not factually correct. It is in the T&C's that if another customer damages the vehicle it must be reported, but again Secure Airparks have admitted in writing they do nothing to uphold this as they don't think it's relevant to review the footage, to support the paying customer. This facility is not safe, it's not secure, your car is not fully insured and they might as well not have any CCTV. They actually mixed up my damage complaint with another case from the same date, it happens that often! Obvious they rely on the fact you may not want to make an insurance claim to affect your premium- so don't even take the chance in parking here there are far superior facilities. I've never had such terrible communication, correspondence and overall lack of interest from a business dealing with the general public - Avoid it all all costs.
If you are considering Airport parking at Edinburgh dont waste time surfing the web to compare service/ price etc. I highly recommend you book Secure Airparks. Why ? : 1 its very easy to book online. Enter your car registration number and its recognised when you arrive at the barrier. Note Secure Airparks is very easy to drive to. 2 Find a car park space & park your car. 3 Walk to the nearest bus stop and wait Note the buses drive round every ten mins or so therefore even in the early hours of a winter morning you wont have long to wait on a nice warm bus.4 the drivers are always extremely helpful and friendly Note they wait till everyone has sat down before moving off which is fantastic for the elderly or infirm.5 the bus takes a short time - no more than 5/10 mins to arrive at bus stop 10 depends on traffic 6 there is an undercover walkway to departures so you dont get soaked. 7 its the reverse coming back Just ring the bell on the bus in good time to let the driver know to stop at your bus stop.Drive out and your on the motorway in minutes. A fantastic service. We use Secure Airparks several times a year for business and holidays and I cant recommend it more highly. Plus its absolutely stress free.
Excellent service. Travelled early morning return trip to car park 3Dec and the driver was especially helpful and friendly not only to us but enquiring travellers. Very impressed .
