The car park is free and has public toilets. The beach is fantastic and the harbour see photos - low tide is very interesting. Our dog loved it!
There's ample parking spaces and a great ice cream van that sells an excellent sugar cone. With the warmer weather round the corner, it'll be busy. And, the beach is only a stonesthrow away.

Free car park down at the beach at Seaton Sluice. Ideal place to park if you want to enjoy a walk along to Blyth beach or the other way to Whitley Bay. The beach at Seaton Sluice is lovely and shallow waters make it perfect for family day out.
This is a free car park with plenty of spaces, but we came on a Tuesday morning in October and it was busier than I expected it to be. Easy access to the beach but not for those with mobility problems. There's a free toilet on the car park too.
Lovely stretch of beach, great for surfing swimming and walking, this takes you either to Blyth or if you head the other way you can end up at St Mary's light house. The car park is adequate size with toilets and sometimes an ice cream van.
Came here to have fish and chips at the harbour view. The beach is lovely and clean and you can walk for miles. We walked from here up to Blyth and back and had an amazing time.
Handy car park for walking the dog. Very close to a grassy area and a play park. Excellent for a walk along the dunes or up to the sluice itself. Free car park, usually an ice cream and a coffee van.
