Frequently ticket machines out of order December/January- check worthwhile TP App. No nearby stations so Scarborough or Hunmanby if you need to print ticket, collect tickets. Free street parking available but popular as station carpark is NOT free but empty!! Feel sorry for nearby residents with cars parked right up to the main road. Location IMPORTANT is between Eastfield and Seamer in Crossgates. Both a good 20 minute trek by foot.
Nice little place but I'd rather northern rail run it
****edit****nParking is no longer free and literally changed overnight - please see picture for ratesnnA small suburban station that is handy for the commuter out of Scarborough due to its Free parking, arrive early to get a parking space.
Good enough station but it should be made clearer that the station is not in Seamer village but it is situated in the village of Crossgates, a mile away. Parking access is quite tight.
It's a very basic station with no facilities other then some waiting shelters.
