Warning do not buy from scs had a sofa and chair for coming up to 2 years. They have been out to it 6 times to repair. There customer service is the worst and will blame you and try to get you to claim on insurance for faults with items. Alot of the reviews on here are by people who get paid to write them or from a member of staff in there head office I have been made aware of. Trading standards are now involved under the sale of goods act 1979 as a sofa should not need to be repaired 6 times in 2 years for faulty folding parts. You have been warned. Read all the other reviews on any other site to see what scs are really like.

I purchased a settee and carpet from this store recently. Lisa and Abbie made the experience fun and they were both very helpful. I would definitely shop here again.

Ordered 4 carpets from ScS St Helens using there fitters to fit. On the day of fitting had a call to say that 2 carpets where damaged and would not be fitted at that time. The fitter then called later to say they wouldn't be fitting the others as there van had broke down. The fitting was then rearranged for the following week but had already removed the old carpets to make way for the new ones, so a week of exposed floorboards and concrete floors. When the next fitting came around the fitters didn't show up until 6.30pm. They fitted 2 of the 4 carpets, 1 carpet was not the right size to fit, there was no carpet to tile threshold placed on the 1 they fitted and couldn't finish fitting as the other carpet wouldn't be fitted. They fitted another carpet very well and then asked if the could return the next day to finish. After they left and I cleaned up the mess they had left I discovered that 1 carpet had stains on it. As of yet the carpet fitters have not shown up or answered there phones. So far we have 1 carpet fitted which will need to be replaced and stairs/landing which is not finished. The manager is very helpful but so far I am yet to receive what I paid for.

A 12 hour window for delivery in this day and age is unacceptable. Even when you call on the day of delivery to find out if it will be in the morning or afternoon they just spout the 12 hour delivery window to you. I will never buy another thing from ScS and give them the opportunity to waste my whole day.
