I had already decided on what carpet I would like but was unsure about ordering online. So I visited my local store for advice and then to order the carpet. The staff there were brilliant, very friendly and helpful. I had measured the room that I needed carpeted but they advised me to have their free survey to confirm that I had got the measurement right. I decided to pay for the carpet on that day and if the survey came out less than I had paid for then I would be refunded. The surveyor texted me the night before to let me know when he would be round and he arrived on time the following day. He was very professional and helpful. After the survey I was able to phone my local store to arrange for the fitting. We agreed on a certain day but then I had to change that day and when I phoned to explain that I had to change the day the lady I spoke to was great. I have had no bad experiences with my local SCS only good ones and I would recommend them to my family and friends.

Poor customer service, promised multiple phone calls but never received. Door bar was too short which took nearly a month to correct. Sofa was promised day after carpets but was booked for a month later! Told we could order another sofa to go with the current one although out of stock to find 3 trips later and 4 not received phone calls that we couldn’t!

We were very pleased with the service we received at scs, Nas was the salesperson who helped us, he made us feel comfortable and never put us under any pressure. I would definitely recommend scs to my family and friends.

First Gent introduced him self and then left us alone, the next bloke kept following us, stunk of smoke, if we discussed a sofa between us would keep putting his own opinion in, then I was question about something I said earlier. Put us right off, we disliked being bombarded and followed and told we do work on commission come see me. Not a chance, went elsewhere.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING... I agree with other comments...very nice and helpful untill you place your order and then a completely different story. We ordered in September 2017 and told them we wouldn't need it until march 2018. We were given a delivery date of march 1st. We got rid of old sofa to decorate and choose paint to go with new sofa. Due to snow they couldn't deliver on that date. We were told nothing so i contacted Norwich branch and was told it would be chased up and they would contact me. No-one did. After countless calls made by me over the following days I was finally told on 29th march they didn't have my sofa so couldn't deliver untill April 14th. I told them this wasn't good enough and was told I could have a refund and hung up on. I've been left with no sofa and have to wait for money to be transferred back even though they took it quick enough. Went to DFS around the corner and purchased an ex display which I can collect in the morning when they've had time to wrap it and was given 2 free scatter cushions. I will be giving DFS my custom from now on.
