We had a fantastic experience today at DFS! Dan was so helpful and wonderful with our daughter Evie who was very excited to be looking a sofas. We felt in such good hands, where he really listened to what we needed and nothing was too much trouble! Thanks so much Dan, we really appreciated all your help!
Having bought two leather sofas just under three years ago we are now not so happy. Leather is stretched and seat padding now have pits where we sit. Having spoke to their customer services we were told we were no longer covered and was given a telephone number to get another company to repair them. And we have to pay. Having paid over £3.300 for them we thought they would last longer then they have. Plus we were told we didn't take out extra protection. Surely if you were confident of your product you shouldn't need extra cover ?
Booked a delivery for today over 2 weeks ago, so I sold my sofa yesterday in preparation, and took a day off work today unpaid to wait in for it.nnIt got to 2 hours after my delivery slot that I received yesterday between 10:27 and 13:27 when I started to try and contact DFS to see what was happening.nI spoke to two agents on the live chat who assured me it was still coming, but I was still concerned, so I called up instead.nnTurns out, they don't even have my sofa yet!!nnIt was supposed to be with them 3 days ago, so I am completely baffled that they are able to book in a delivery time slot with me yesterday when they don't even have the sofa!!!!nnI have been told the earliest they will receive the sofa is in 5 days time, and only then can I book my delivery date, meaning I am now a minimum of a week with no sofa AND two full days wages down.nnI hate to pull this card but I am a single mum and 7 months pregnant, and now have to spend the few hours I get to relax sitting on a wooden dining chair.nnI am absolutely blown away that this has happened, and that it took me phoning them up after waiting in for 6 hours to find out the sofa doesn't even exist.nnAbsolutely gutted.
We visited the Norwich store today and bought a soda and arm chair with help and support from Katie. Excellent customer service, she was friendly, knowledgable and chatty. Reading other reviews is making me nervous the wrong sofa will turn up or that they’ll damage my house but I trust that everything has been done correctly in store.
Really good shopping experience buying our new sofa. Phil was brilliant, no pushy sales and also helping us with handy tips of how to look after our new sofa.
