Lovely business. They had sold out of things I guess when I bobbed in 2 days ago. Lovely pasty and sausage roll though. nice to see bakery and ingredients at back of shop. Would love to sample cream cakes and bread. Think you have to arrive early for that

Vegan shop. I eat meat. That being said, extremely handy for when you have veggie and vegan friends over. For myself, I have acacia rats who like dried friut, I buy eco-friendly washing up liquid and the like, and I buy fair trade as much as possible. The Screaming Carrot caters for all of that, and they're lovely peeps. I strongly recommend at least putting your head round the door and having a look around.

They have a great range of fresh savouries and cakes available. I also find SC brilliant for Vegan and Environmentally friendly products that are fairly priced with knowledgable and helpful staff.

I moved back to Nottingham and found this gem. I am a huge bread fan and the staff cater to my needs at great prices. I'd work there for a loaf a day lol amazing

Absolutely phenomenal vegan food!  Huge variety of fresh cream cakes, pastries and cookies. Lots of frozen food, health bars! Vegan paradise!

Sad to see its closing down best bakery for miles by far. Gutted it is no longer but Screaming Carrot thank you so much for some wonderful food you will be sorely missed

What a shame that after some pioneering 30 years serving vegan/vegetarian baked good and wholefoods to the local community, Screaming Carrot previously Aquarian Basics has closed in June 2017,

Fantastic food, great variety, friendly service . . . Tasty vegan food which my carnivorous husband loves!

This is a brilliant place for vegetarian and vegan snacks. Food is prepared on site for purchase.
