Absolutely disgusted at this surgery. My grandmother has been with them for a number of years and had an appointment suddenly cancelled and a family member who spoke little English called them on Friday 31st Jan 2025 at approx 11am the manner in which the receptionist spoke to her was disgusting. She was rude and abrupt and did not even try to explain politely why the appointment was cancelled especially after waiting 2 months for this appointment. If you wish to be put down for having a language barrier call this surgery would definitely recommend steer away from this surgery. Wouldn’t even give it a 1 if possible. If you do not wish to your job there are a million other people who will the job wholeheartedly and be more caring towards the patient and considerate. I hope management take a good hard look at the way particular receptionists speak to their patients.
Posting on behalf of my wife who was prescribed the wrong medication.nnShe had been struggling with symptoms of a chest infection, after numerous calls she got an appointment to see a practitioner nurse named Purcelle Davidson.nnHe prescribed Co-amilofruse. After taking these she had severed tummy cramping, upon investigation she discovered she had been prescribed the wrong medication. Co-amilofruse instead of Co-amoxiclav.nnShe was told as they both start with the same letters it was a mistake, but which could have been fatal!nBeware and check you have been prescribed the right medication by this man!
I called the surgery and spoke to Kal, she was extremely helpful and empathetic towards my poorly son’s symptoms. She Managed to get me an appointment for the same day.
Have had such a positive experience with a lady called Kal. She has made my experience extremely smooth. She has really taken the time to listen to me and empathise and been very supportive. Very efficient and quick in processing when asked
Would give 0 if there was an option. Myself and my children have been unwell for over 3 weeks now. Called everyday this week and 2 days last week to be seen with no luck as I just can’t get through at 8am like they keep telling me to call and when I do get through all the appointments have gone.nI was very concerned about my 2 year old so called up mid day to beg for an appointment and was given medical advice by the receptionist because they think they are the doctors. I was told to wait till Monday and buy a cough syrup she recommended. I was adamant I wanted an appointment and finally got one for him after waiting days.nWill the receptionists be held accountable for giving medical advice when they are not permitted to and if the patient dies as a result of their advice?nI went and the surgery and was like a ghost town, not a single patient in sight. And when I went a couple of times last week to ask for appointments in person it was exactly the same.
