The best experience with a dentist ever! I am a very nervous patient and was in need of an emergency appointment, I got an appointment immediately with Victoria who was amazing, she made me feel calm and settled and was exceptional in every way, she located the problem fast and extracted the tooth. i can’t praise her enough! i won’t hesitate to use them again or be as nervous again Thanks Vikki xx

I went on Monday 9 September 2024. I was really scared. I was seen by Dr Shyam Patel & Liv. This man is amazing at his job. I had to have a extraction I can honestly say I never felt a thing. I would highly recommend if your scared to make an appointment with Dr Shyam Patel. No after pain at all I can't even tell I've had an extraction. Amazing highly recommended Scott Arms very professional dentist.

My husband has been seen by Dr Sophia today with an emergency 10/10 dental pain, Dr Sophia was calm, answered questions and concerns clearly, put the patient at ease, constantly reassuring and checking on how comfortable he was, absolutely first class treatment. Reception staff and the Dental Nurse were all lovely too. Highly recommend this surgery, hands down beats our local one in every aspect.

Ordinarily I would give this Practice a 5* review, and, indeed, historically I have recommended it to friends. However, today has left me very hurt in the true sense of the word and bitterly disappointed.  Normally I see Dr. Singh who for me, has been amazing, however, because I have to travel some distance 2 hour round trip, and am currently also dealing with a bereavement, something I made the Reception staff aware of ahead of my arrival, I asked them if they could suggest another Dentist who could see me at an earlier time in the day, so they suggested a Dentist called Hamza.  Whilst initially he was personable, I get very figety with almost the first words out of a Dentist's mouth are "how old are the crowns?" To me that's another way of saying "I can see revenue here".  I answered all of the questions truthfully and then Hamza said he would clean my teeth, well, he went at my gums and teeth with such force that I literally shot out of the chair in pain, and still, several hours later, my gums are tender and sore and my teeth feel utterly disgusting and 'coated'. It felt like he'd taken a blade to my gumline.  It was like he was going at my teeth with such force he was hoping the crack the crowns. I've had a LOT of dental work done and NEVER have I EVER shot out of the chair in pain.  My last Dentist, before coming to know Scott Arms Dental Practice, I saw for the best part of 40 years and he carefully got me over my fear of visiting a Dentist after a very hideous experience as a small child with the very first Dentist I ever saw.  Today has brought memories flooding back from what happened to me as a small child and has undone 40 years of compassionate care from my retired Denstist. In fact I drove home in tears wondering if I will ever see another Dentist again.  Whilst I don't believe Hamza set out of hurt me, I pride myself in the welfare of my teeth and gums, and for my gums to still feel like I've got a sharp needle going around them 8.5 hours later and for my mouth to taste metallic and dirty/gritty isn't acceptable. Hamza also bullet fired questions at me as if he was somehow trying to catch my out. Perhaps that's his way, but given I'm probably 20+ years his senior I didn't appreciate his mannerism.  When Dr Singh did a root canal treatment on my teeth I barely felt anything, he was so careful, in fact, my response when he'd finished was "Is that it?!"  Yet a simple and straight forward clean has left me with like this and nursing a very sore needle jabbed mouth. Hamza even said he needn't have gone at my gums so forceably so then why did he? I told him he made me feel like I'd presented myself to him with a dirty mouth, something I would NEVER do. I am scrupulous with my oral hygiene, however it feels dirtier post-visit than when I started the day.  I saw a young woman who I believe was called Jody, she was polite enough I suppose, and whilst she kept saying it wouldn't have been Hamza's intention for me to have suffered so much pain, I'd already said this to her, so her remark was somewhat futile. If she's in a position of Management, I shouldn't have had to ask her to stay until the appointment had concluded, she should have done so off her own volition. The point is I'm still in stinging discomfort and this isn't acceptable for any patient. Jody seemed out of her depth at knowing how to deal with the situation I was put in.  * Just an update a week later and still in discomfort. My fear is that Hamza has upset all of Dr. Singh's skillful dentistry with his clumsy and heavy approach. Dealing with a bereavement I don't need this extra stress.

Had a broken tooth that became unmanageable pain wise over the bank holiday weekend due to an infection. I booked an appointment online easily for later the same day.  On arrival the reception staff are really welcoming and kind, explaining everything you need to fill in. Seen by Curran Patel who examined me and explained what he could do giving a price upfront.  The extraction was very difficult for both me and the dentist but with the assistance and support of Jody and Phil, Curran ensured I left without the problem tooth and now am in a lot less pain, I can't thank you enough for your help and care.

It's an excellent Dental Practice. People on  the reception are very friendly. Service was very swift. Whatever I wanted it was done Quickly. Even the dentist and her Assistant was very friendly as well.  The dental practice was very clean and tidy.I would definitely recommend this place to Anybody who needs emergency service. And I am delighted that On emergency it was covered by nhs as well.

I had a terrible pain in my tooth  that sprung up over the course of a few days. I contacted this surgery at 6pm, got an appointment for same day 9:20pm. It is  definitely expensive and you’ll save some money waiting for an NHS appointment, but sometimes you can’t wait, and sometimes you need to see someone as soon as possible at awkward times such as late at night and during the holiday seasons, however, The price is definitely justified for the speed, convenience and quality.  The quality of care is brilliant, Dr Imran and Sana were fantastic, they made sure I was reassured and  comfortable before the tooth extraction procedure and allowed me to take my time in deciding if I wanted to go ahead. Overall,  the experience was positive.

Can’t thank Scott Arms enough! Visited my own dental practise in Tamworth for an extraction and after an hour and 3 dentists trying, they failed to remove the whole tooth, leaving the root behind and my eye swollen shut and damage to the roof of my mouth resulting in a referral for surgery in a few weeks. After 4 days of living in agony I couldn’t cope with the pain so I called Scott Arms for a second opinion who got me in the same day and the dentist was very confident he could remove it himself. After just 20 minutes of entering the room, it was out! It just goes to show their level of competence! He did in 20 minutes what 3 other dentists couldn’t do in an hour! It’s been 2 days since removal and I’ve had no issues and minimal pain! The costs were explained upfront and were very reasonable. I’m so so grateful to no longer be suffering! This practise is award winning for a reason!!  THANK YOU!

Suffered with wisdom teeth pain for a couple of days. So Scott arms offered an emergency appointment on the same day I rang in. I had incredible service and support by Dr. Shyam Patel , he did an amazing job with his assistance Jagroop, both so polite and respectful! thank you so much. Would definitely recommend this dental practice as they’re so quick and reliable! Receptionists were all so lovely too.
