Story

Established in the 1980’s and based in the great border city of Carlisle, we are one of the largest independent bike stores in the UK stocking some of the sport’s biggest and most innovative brands both online and from our retail store. With industry leading bikes from the likes of Specialized, Cannondale, Early Rider plus clothing and accessories from ORTLIEB, KASK, Five Ten, Fox Racing, Brooks saddles and Castelli to name but a few with many more available.

Just retired and wanted to get back into cycling. Brilliant service from Jed sourcing me a Cannondale comfort bike and he was very helpful in the weeks after that to ensure my bike was setup right. Love getting out of my bike again now. So glad I bought locally rather than online. Can’t recommend enough.

We popped in to get a quick repair on our son's bike. Super friendly and super efficient, got it fixed while we browsed in the shop. The chap even put my new pedals on for me. The shop is large and well stocked with bikes, accessories and cycle wear. It's a short cycle into the city centre. Well worth a visit.
Excellent service. We got to try out our bikes, and chat about extras, saddles and locks. Two bikes ordered, will be ready in a couple of days. Recommended. Update: Bikes now have cool off-road tyres, and are better than ever! Again, excellent service.
Great value with great, friendly service. Bike arrived even sooner than hoped for and practically ready to ride luckily for me as I have the mechanical prowess of a blancmange!. Very well packed though I wonder if less plastic could be possible?. Taken bike out for a couple of short spins and am very happy with my purchase. Highly recommend.
Ordered a bike from them - arrived within 3 days of purchasing. Customer service is amazing, they took the time to reply to one of my messages out of hours putting my mind at ease. The bike even arrived with a chain stay protector already on! I really wasn’t expecting that and I can’t thank them enough. Don’t hesitate to buy from these guys, outstanding service overall. Definitely true to their core values.
Had to dive in here as an emergency to help my husband pump up his Wheelchair tires. Not only did the guy behind the till serve quickly, he came out to demonstrate how to use the equipment, and then pumped up both tires for free. Lovely guy, really went the extra mile.
Wow… shocking customer service. No contact telephone number. Do not accommodate to any scenario. Was very quick to cancel our order and not allow to arrange collection. Or pay for delivery. Do not use this company. Awful. We are now out of pocket of £320. Completely and utterly fuming with this company. I did not request a refund like the email said.
Absolutely fantastic, I've never heard of them previously but at the time I bought mine they were selling the Elite Tuo a good £30 cheaper than anywhere else. Item arrived promptly with a good parcel carrier. Very happy.
