Schoolwear Plus is one of the largest independent schoolwear and uniform specialists in Essex. We are a family business and we pride ourselves on offering a comprehensive service to our customers.

We don't just design and source school uniforms; we also supply universities, clubs, businesses - indeed anyone who requires a specific uniform or kit or is looking for a customised/personalised garment or accessory.

Our ethos is to work collaboratively with our schools and other customers to help them define their uniform requirements, by bringing our expertise to the design and product selection process, to support their uniform policy in the store, and to deliver the best possible value.

For our schools, we know how important it is for parents to be able to buy your children’s school uniform easily, at the right price and with the minimum of fuss. Our aim is to provide a differentiated and valuable service to schools, parents and children in the local community and to make the whole issue of school uniform as stress-free as possible. We strive to provide a One-Stop Shop for Schooldays!

All year round availability of specific uniform items, general items and associated accessories is of paramount importance to the majority of our customers. To that end, we endeavour to ensure that we hold sufficient stock of all sizes to meet the seasonal requirements.

Our in-store staff are all fully-qualified and trained to handle all aspects of uniform matters. They are friendly, supportive and helpful and are measured primarily on customer service. Many of our staff are mothers themselves and are familiar with the challenge of buying schoolwear for children. We are delighted to report that we often receive accolades from our customers for our staff going the “extra mile” to ensure customer satisfaction.

Our store, which is located at 12 Parkway, Chelmsford, CM2 0NF, offers a large, local, friendly environment, with a spacious product display area and changing rooms, etc., allowing you to browse, in comfort, at your leisure.
