Had to write this review to express the relief and gratitude felt leaving the vets yesterday. My cat had an injury that looked a lot worse than it was and I'd got in a bit of a pickle expecting the worst but Chris treated him so kindly and promptly with care. What probably would have been quite painful was made more comfortable for him. Chris is brilliant and really put us both at ease. My cat's healing really well already and looks back to his normal lovely self. So relieved and happy with how we were both treated. There still is kindness in the world. Thank you so much.
If our dog could give her own testimonial she would give five stars. She goes in wagging her tail and is always warmly welcomed. The vet talks us through her treatment in a way that we can understand to help us with some of the hard decisions we have had to make. Professional and caring people.
Vet very good and caring. Very helpful and nice with our dogs when we went for their vaccinations. They won't mind going again. Staff helpful and friendly. A good experience.
All positive, all staff were friendly, empathetic and clearly loved their work and their love of animals shone through. Nice atmosphere a contrast to that in the NHS as employee and more recently as a patient.
They changed hands before that I would have given 5 . Firstly I would like to say Louis the emergency vet was outstanding . But sadly since then the last vets I have seen I lost faith in just not experienced enough and definelty a lot of room for improvement . I have now changed practice as I don’t trust the vet I saw I have had pets of my own for. 40 years and I’m glad I have gone with my own gut feeling here . For one my cat nearly died this summer the first time I went back to see a different vet I was t impressed I felt I had to tell her what Louis had said she hadn’t read notes !! Alarm bells to me as very serious . When I went back saw a diff vet he was in the wrong month said I can’t give your cat another injection anti sickness or antibiotics Then he realised when I said oh yes I forgot what month we in not impressed . On my booster check wasn’t even asked to weigh animals and pleas bare in mind my cat nearly died this summer . Yearly check ups meant to weigh check animals properly . Then putting Darcy on scales she went to put weight in said he lost weight I said he not on scales correctly I insisted I did it again . Just not caring enough for me looked like she didn’t realy care feeling I got . Tiried over worked maybe but I have no faith in that vet so no way would I go back but I must say the emergency vet I did he was brilliant seems in between you have to see any vet I don’t appreciate that especially when I asked for Louis so I won’t be going back now .thankfully our old vet has own practice so we are happy and confident in getting a good vet everytime now which every pet lover needs and the pet especially . In the past years ago at another practice I lost a collie a rescue because they didn’t pick up on heart issue so I speak my mind when I’m not happy room major for improvement needed .and reviews need updating the old practice had nothing but good reviews . The staff on reception are nice friendly another lady helped me to the car with my cat can’t fault reception . But the vets are most Important key thing and don’t meet my standards .
Lovely staff, never feel rushed. Vet plan is great and saves alot of money over the year. Appointments always thorough and explained fully.
Luis and Chris are the best vets I have ever been honoured with to look after my lovely cat Spencer. The level of commitment and attention to detail from them is just outstanding. There is always plenty of time in consultation and always good sound and honest advice. Their level of experience with the animals they treat is such a blessing and I for one can rest in peace with my pets health knowing he is looked after by the best. A HUGE ‘Thank you’ to Luis and Chris and a head rub from Spencer
Excellent service. Gave us a very quick appointment whilst we were staying in Wickham Market on holiday. The vet was kind, caring, informative and did a great job.
I’ve been using Saxon Vets for ten years and have always been happy with the care and treatment they have given my dogs. Over the years they have also helped with advice on the right pet insurance cover and company. I’ve also received help with pet passports and recently post Brexit travel rules.
I have always had excellent service at Saxon Vets. When I had one of my dogs put to sleep recently, the vet could not have been more sympathetic and considerate. I even received a bunch of flowers from Saxon Vets - above and beyond! Treatment is always excellent and all the vets put my dogs and me at ease. Everything is explained and consultations are never rushed. All in all - perfect!!
