A fantastic outdoor location to enjoy a nice sunny day at. There are plenty of paths and tracks that you can explore with good spots to stop and enjoy nature and watch and listen out for all kinds of birds. There is a pleasant lake and the car park is massive, with the option for an annual card to allow parking for free. There is also a nice cafe and restaurant for you to use after you have explored.
I loved the gardens, its so beautiful, you could spend hours here. If you plan to go again its worth going for the membership, you will get a refund on the ticket purchased, the car park, guest passes, free parking and lots of other extras. Then venue has a coffee area, WC, gift shop and restaurant.
If you are not a gardening fanatic then these are just Gardens that are extremely pleasant to visit and walk around. There are lots of specimen plants that are beautifully labelled with their proper names - a lot in Latin. I love plants and gardens but not to that degree, so for me an hour and we had covered everything. Our idea when we decided to visit was to see the Azaleas and Rhododendrons but sadly we timed it wrong and were a couple of weeks after it was in its full glory. On the plus side, the Rose Garden is starting to come into its prime and the smell is amazing. There are a massive amount of Benches to sit and enjoy your surroundings and most paths are fully accessible for wheelchair users and push chairs. It is relatively expensive to get in, around £14 per head, although there are concessions for Blue Light Card holders and RHS Members. The Car Park is even worse, I would go as far as to say completely extortionate, at approximately £3 per hour. An easy, stress free experience is pretty well guaranteed so for that purpose I would recommend a visit.
When I entered this Savill Garden, I didn’t put my mobile phone down again, because it was so beautiful, there were postcard-like scenery everywhere, and the flowers were in full bloom, which gave me a sense of vitality! The lawn is also very fertile, suitable for picnics and walking, recommended!
A true testament to the difference of visiting a garden and a visiting a park. Every square inch of it is well cared for, lovingly crafted in wonderous ways that brings to any visitor. Housing some varieties that I certainly haven't seen just anywhere and harmoniously working with the wildlife. It brings your inner child to the surface and soothes the soul by creating a place that never seems to end. There is always something new, exciting and places in the park you just couldn't quite see. I would happily go there again and pay the same price again which is of around £15. No dogs, no ball games, loud music or bbqs. A place to enjoy nature as it is and create something beautiful with its blooms. Plants taller than me, leaves bigger than my body, hedges so perfect you wish you could cuddle them. A garden to truly marvel at.
Beautiful garden that is well looked after. Great for a day out with the family. Note - you are not allowed to take in any food/drinks into the garden itself.
Really surprised at just how good this place was. Honestly didn't expect the illuminations to be as amazing. Some pieces were fantastic. Took 2 hours to walk around. And it was time well spent. Places to grab a bite and drink along the way.
Beautifully sculpted curved ceiling over the restaurant, shop and entrance invites you into the beautiful Savill Garden. When in full bloom, the place is picturesque, but during fall and winter it might be a bit underwhelming.
Beautiful gardens to have a wandering around, quite expensive so I'd make sure you go when the flowers were out in bloom. We also had pizza and coffee which was lovely. We will come back in spring/summer
