I visited the Busy Bee Vegetarian Hotel and had mixed feelings about the food. Some dishes were really delicious, but others weren't that great. The Battura was amazing, but the curry had very little portion, and the Gobi Manchurian wasn't good enough. The service was good, but I was expecting more people to be available for service.
Visited in June 2023. I’ve been to this particular SB and others previously, so know what to expect. Their variety of dosas and South Indian cuisine is vast and very diverse in flavour. We usually go for the Chef Specials, with Spinach and Cheese. This particular day at SB was incredibly busy and hardly a free table, however, we were lucky enough to sit in the banqueting area, which was a lot more comfortable. We ordered cocktails from SB for the first time, as they were new on the menu. They were disappointing. Tasted like they were out of a can - which they were. So I do not recommend that. Their starters were lovely, usually go for the Gobi 65/Manchurian. Service is pleasant enough however not the most attentive, which is usual in this fast paced environment.
Great place to have a good South Indian Thali. Worth the price and tastes authentic. We ordered south Indian meals, the service was quick and we can have unlimited refills of rice and curries.nIt was a little crowded but it's expected to be. Various things are available apart from Thali which can be tried.
An amazing restaurant to eat south Indian and vegetarian food in Southall. Please do try the Chole Bature, Mini Tiffin, Idli Sambhar and Mango Lassi. The ambience is really amazing and the staff is very friendly and suggested many options.
Has a lunch meal here with my friend, first time trying Indian dish at UK. Dosa was super yummy, and at a good price.nnIn addition, Amalda was super friendly and helpful, served us with great hospitality. We wanted to sit near the window side, she immediately arranged it for us. Thank you very much.nnDef will come again, and recommend anyone who is looking for Indian food at an affordable price !
