Have tried this restaurant out a few times and it impresses me every time. One of the best restaurants in Southall especially for all the veggies. The price is just amazing and the food is just like home. It isn't the five star dining or service experience but none of that matters for the quality and pricing of the food. Would recommend it to anyone that wants just some good food with family and a good time. Cannot praise it enough.
This is certainly one of the most pleasant place in the region. Every time I come there I am profoundly happy. They preserve their high standard service and the highest level of meals they give. You will be always satisfied with this place. Very recommended.
One of a few restaurants on this very popular street that has ample seating for a snack or complete meal. A very good selection of dishes meat and vegetarian freshly prepared daily at competitive but reasonable prices. Take away service also available.
Fresh, home style Indian food. Very tasty and freshly cooked. Loved stuffed, fried long pepper with the batter and samosas.Great choice of currys. Good value. ranked service low as the restaurant was full but they didn't have enopugh stuff. One of the guy was new there and didn't even know names of the dishes.Long wait but the food was worth it. They also have nice selection of Indian sweets that you can buy and take home to eat later.
Holy moly. What a little gem of a place. Do not expect 5 star dining. This is a small, family run Punjabi restaurant with food similar to your mum's cooking. Great selection of traditional dishes, fast service, authentic taste, cheap as you'll find anywhere in London. The chai is amazing for restaurant quality. Honestly, I could pick faults at the decor, the crockery, the relaxed service etc but for the price, you can't complain! I'll be taking friends from out of town there regularly.
One of the best Indian punjabi restaurant, I love this place specially love of owner uncle auntie n offcours the food . My favorite is gobi paratha. Can’t miss back home food when poornima is their .must try them all kind of parathas. Very good staff , reasonable prices.
Nothing fancy but nothing simple about this restaurant also. We ordered butter roti, garlic naan, maki di roti, bhindi masala, shahi paneer and spicy popadam, mix pakoda plate. In return we received dirty glasses for water, plain popadam instead of spicy, the shahi paneer was watery and there was nothing shahi in it. Maki di roti was like eating plain flour no taste and felt like having a bhakri. Mix pakoda were cold and were re heated in micro wave and served. Garlic naan had garlic in it but the flavour of garlic was missing. The only thing nice was the bhindi masala. The serving quantity of each dish is good enough for 2 people. The total bill was 14 pounds.
The sitting area could have done with a clean, and some of the gulab jaman looked as if they had been there for a number of days. Staff were very unfriendly and only seemed interested in talking to their friends. Once my order arrived 5 hot drinks were balanced on top of each other and placed in a paper bag. Not a single thought or care in the world.
The last place one want to go for a meal. Been twice, first time waited 30 mins for Parata obviously the curry was pre cooked. Second time got two curries ordered Dall but i think they made turmeric curry confusing with dall!!
I think the service is lacking. My usual lunch place for Indian food is closed on Tuesday. The food does not compare to the other place in quantity or quality. I brought some leftovers home that I threw in the bin. It was that bad. Maybe I picked the wrong chef but I would not go back
