Best South Indian vegetarian restaurant in the UK, the food always tastes delicious and authentic. One of their best branch in terms of taste consistency as I have been coming here for years now.
Today we visited this restaurant in East Ham for dinner, we ordered daal makhani which cost £7.85 or £8 not less than this. The quantity was shocking, literally very shocking. It was not even enough for 1 person. The katori was very small and the quantity was shockingly less. And we ordered one gravy with paneer veggies and mushrooms. But it was a pure scam, quantity of the whole gravy was same as the daal makhani, very tiny thinly sliced mushroom 3 pieces and 4 paneer pieces and few beans and peas and same price . We ordered 2 butter naan at first but we thought it was 1 portion only when we asked they said it was 2 portions. Again we had to order 2 more butter naan. It was also very much thin and small. I am literally telling you, 2 portions looks like 1 in comparison to many restaurants nearby. When asked they said this is their restaurant’s standard and they cannot help in anything and said you better order dosa it is very big!!!!!! Like seriously????nStaff were rude, not professional not because of the quantity issue they don’t know how to even severe food to the customer. They just threw the naan on the table and went. Also the manager the old man looks like he was the manager because he said I am the boss said we cannot help, this is all we provide and you are the only customer to complain. All customers are dumb???? Very disappointed, we planned for dinner but it seemed like restaurant was bluffing around with us. If you want good food, good people and reasonable price please do not visit this restaurant this is a pure scam. People shouldn’t be scammed like this, when we trust and visit them. I think we deserve more than this while we pay good. Please check the pictures added below, can check the spoon handle where it ends to figure out the quantity.
