We recently dined at Taste of India Veg Restaurant and had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, freshly prepared, and full of authentic flavours. We ordered Paneer Butter Masala, Dal Tadka, Butter Roti, and Butter Garlic Naan, and every dish was rich, creamy, and perfectly seasoned.nnThe highlight of our meal was the Gobi Dry Manchurian starter – absolutely outstanding with the perfect balance of spice and crispiness. It set the tone for what turned out to be an exceptional meal.nnThe service was warm, polite, and attentive, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. Overall, a fantastic place for anyone who loves Indian vegetarian cuisine. Highly recommended, and we will definitely be returning!
The food here is lovely, with a great mix of South Indian dishes, North Indian favourites and some tasty Indo‑Chinese options.nnI especially enjoy their curries, particularly the palak paneer and rajma masala, and I really appreciate that they are happy to customise them to make them spicier to suit my taste.nnTheir mango lassi is so tasty as well.nnHowever, the service can sometimes feel a bit unfriendly; one of the ladies taking orders I’m sorry, I’ve forgotten her name but I think there is only onen often seems very serious and not particularly helpful when ordering, which does take away slightly from an otherwise enjoyable experience.nnOn the plus side, their cleaning staff are very polite and friendly.
Honestly, best and authentic and “homemade” style Indian food. Feels and tastes like home cooked meals. Highly recommended for anyone traveling to London and wants great Indian food. Not one of your fancy fusion style seen in the big cities.
Went on a not so crowded Tuesday afternoon, so there may be different experiences when it is busier. But damn... this is legitimately one of the best Indian restaurants I've ever been to. I had the tamarind rice and the five mini utthapums... both tasted fresh and amazing, I even told the manager that the tamarind rice tasted just like my late grandmothers true!. And it is an affordable meal as well, even accounting for the price to get to and from central London.nnService may be different on a busier day. But the food was five stars without hyperbole, and to me, that's worth it.
Great place for vegetarians! Menu is quite long and have lot of options to eat! I ordered chola bhatura and it was delicious. Satisfying overall! I also ordered Gulab Jamun as a dessert and was served hot, so very authentic!
