Sarafina Italian

First visit was lunch today with three friends. Friendly welcome, including offering to take our coats. Decor is classy and understated, and south-facing windows make it nice and bright (even more so had we sat upstairs). We liked the Tamla Motown music. To nibble, we ordered bread and olives; beautifully presented, with more variety than the title implies, including very nice dips and intriguing balsamic pearls, and reasonable quantities for sharing (but small plates and serving teaspoons would have been helpful). Good starters including the salmon, cod and haddock fishcakes. Main courses were very good too. Their tiramisu was excellent. Great service, and clean and smart toilets (upstairs). Highly recommended, and with a worthwhile discount through January.

The food was delicious with plenty of flavour with great service too. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Very good! Just had a large glass of Primitivo and a starter Rigatoni. Very tasty and reasonably priced. My first time but I will be back.
