Came for a wedding, quite a big venue, Very limited car parking space so be careful
Great place to be for weddings! Although quite small it is still very nice. It has a little dance floor at the front, stage lights and a disco ball too. Security guards usually regulate the parking lot so that reserved seats can't be taken by random people.
I personally would not reccommend this venue to anyone. I went there for a wedding and the hall was cold it felt like no heating system in the hall. The staff who served the food were rude and abrupt they appeared to be task centred. The food was cold which is concerning considering the starters were mainly meat dishes therefore chances of food posining is quite high if food is not warmed up to a required temperature. I feel the hall looked amazing however the cleanin less of the toilets and hall itself was debatable. Cutlery was half put on the tables and the knife and forks were not exactly clean..... the plates were also not to a high standard of cleanliness... i personally would avoid at all costs. Furthermore the parking is awful and the area makes u concerned to leave ure car on the road.
The glasses were still dirty, we found one cleanish glass on our table of 10. The seat covers did did look like they had been washed and some had holes in them. When you pay so much money for a venue and have to pay upfront this kind of thing is disappointing and disgusting. Parking is also far too limited. Will never use this venue again. Stay clear.
Do not hold an event here! The owner was very nonchalant and did not care about our most basic requests for holding a reception. We are told to wait our own bar, alert the waiters when things needed to be done as the itinerary we gave him will 'only end up folded in his pocket and won't be used'! The day before the reception we got to see a 'preview' of the hall as they were preparing for another reception that night. There were many stains and ripped sashes. The manager's response was 'if i shifted this to a table at the back it wouldn't have been an issue'. Terrible customer service. On the day, there was no coordination, plates were left on tables for 2 courses. They had to be told when to serve each course or pour champagne. Services were delayed and servers were caught eating our food in the kitchen! Table and chair covers were still dirty.. Music from event upstairs were blaring through very loudly. Bride had a separate bathroom which was filthy. I had to ask the staff to clean it. Welcome sign at entrance had a spelling mistake so had to be changed. Beer supplied from bar tap was flat. Without the wedding guests interference the day would have been a shamble. I do not recommend holding any event here.
A bit small. I guess it depends on the host how many ppl they invite. The function I went to was packed. The tables were really close together and there was no space for the waiters to move and serve. Other than that it's good
The venue itself is good the downstairs is average, the gents toilets are in a bad state and there 8s always an issue with parking, partly because there is another venue a few hundred yards away. However there are improvements needed
Went to my cousins wedding party, it was boiling inside air conditioning was either off or blocked to the hilt. The life opens into the kitchen and the smell was less than desirable, to think i ate food that had passed through that lift. At weddings it is a given if there is booze the loos are going to be a mess, they were indeed. Its an ok venue nothing too flash but decent enough.
Its nice place for all event
Had my cousin brother wedding on 18th nov2018 found staff very helpful food service very good plus nice access to hall venue the door man on duty was helpful show my me and mum to lift very helpful on car park as well very professional
