A big store really big with to many big brands in it, offering a lot of opportunities to buy what you looking for, from fragrance to games including sport cloths or some for different occasions. I was surprising to see such a big store on Saturday at noon so empty. I think something should be changed in the future to make the store reliable to keep the business on. Probably a good idea it will be to get rid of 1-2 floors and reinvest a bit in remaining space to make it more attractive.
What a waste of time, on board it was written clearance on the 4th floor whereas the 4th floor was closed. The rest of the store had only 20% -30% off which is clearly not clearance, what a joke.
I had a lovely time in here. The place was becoming an outlet and in the throws of changing over but I got great service from a guy who was being made redundant. He was helpful, happy and quite exubriant! he did have a new job he was going to and was very excited about that as it involved lots of travel! I bought a rather delightful lipstick and case which both cost the same as if I bought the lippy on its own... Spoiled myself and had fun at the same time!
Lots of bargains 20% off plus sale price. But nothing like the posh House of Fraiser that I remember. It was more like a jumble sale. The staff were pleasant even though it was very cold inside.
What a disappointment. The whole shop felt like a huge jumble sale full of tat and rubbish. The staff were bored and unhelpful, seen drinking coffee and chatting, one looked so cold with her earmuffs and puffa jacket on I thought she was a customer. What a sad end to what was once a thriving and fashionable store.
The men's hairdresser salon was really good value, £10 for a cut and shampoo. I didn't need to make an appointment and was served immediately. I also got a Hugo Boss jumper for my birthday well below the RRP. You can get really good value at low prices here. The staff are friendly, however it is beginning to show signs of wear.
This store really has gone downhill. Absolutely shocked when I visited. No longer an upmarket department store I won't be visiting again anytime soon

I was a bit on shock by the state of this House of Fraser. Untidy, all looking less glamour or luxurious than usual, the top floor with a reduced to clear section that doesn't feel like what you expect here... The worst thing was asking where was the toilet and the response was: "Toilets are not opened to the public, please use McDonald's one". This will be a lesson on devaluating the name brand one day at business schools.
The whole purpose of my visit was to go to GAME as a colleague from the Merry Hill branch told me about the discounted item here, it was okay I didn't see any discount watches for £300 which you can pick up for £200 at normal prices, don't bother wasting your journey
