Bank closed before 4pm on Thursday? Two ATM's outside but "not able to assist with request at this time" from both. Trying to activate a new card which apparently any ATM can do. Disappointing really.
Been with them for years. Going to leave as they are never open to the public !! When you have to go into the store for help
The came into the store with my mom, I have been banking with Santander for about over 12 years and I must say the staff the service received by branch now is so disappointing. We were served by a lady at the till who didn’t seem to be polite when serving my mother. Her tone of voice was quite condescending.
There are two ATM machines outside Maidenhead branch but MOST of the time both are not working to pay the cheques in. You have got to go there every day, waste your time and try your luck to see when it would work. And always like that for a very very long time now. Contacted them in the past, they said they are looking what’s wrong but never managed to fix it. If you work long hours and can’t get into brach during opening times, then outside machines are of little/no help.
Awful customer service, extremely rude staff whenever I have visited. I would advise using another branch or switching banks altogether.
