I had to pay my builders installments every two weeks over six months when our house was being renovated. I prearranged collection with Barclays in advance so there would be no problems. Each time I went in they told me I couldn't have the money. Did everything they could to stop me withdrawing cash to pay my builders more than five times. Each time I bawled them out and refused to leave and eventually received my cash. Each time I also asked them what I need to do to make sure the money was ready the next time. They started off saying give us two days notice. Then three days, then four, then five, then six, then a week. And so on. It wasn't ready ONCE!!!! Rude, and dishonest. Shouldn't be allowed to run a bank.
