Just venting while I head to the co-op to replace the rotten veg bought from Morrisons, yet again Of course the occasional bad piece will slip through the net, but something's wrong when it's on this scale! Edited to add photos from today's visit, a week later. The shop is nothing if not consistent.
The self check out is a very and they frequently only have one normal till open with a very long queue. You would think they would get the message, people don't like them if people are willing to queue 10 deep for the one open till. Tesco and others have much faster self checkout processes.
I find it hard to understand why staff are very unhelpful The hot food counter is always unmanned. Stood there while staff talked amongst them self's. Going. back do November's Rememberants day. I want to take my hat of to the chappy that works behind the fish counter he. took is hat off for the silence, stood there straight like a soldier. Well done. Nice to see somebody still cares.
Total disgrace being charged top price when its on offer please check all items at till, for the correct price because sum items you wudnt buy if wasn't on offer. Total rip off bad management. ripping customers off. Nothing changes NO baskets again !!!!!!!!!
Never been a Morrisons fan but called in as I was next door. Unfortunately it still seems to be wrestling with itself as to where it sits in the market. Nowhere near as good value as the discounters Aldi & Lidl with similar pricing to Sainsbury & Tesco. One day it may discover its USP if it's still around.
Nice staff and cafe but exspensive food in store. They do have great plants at the moment

Standard supermarket with adequate packing lots. Prices are reasonably tagged. Clean and conducive environment
Came for the breakfast. Staff was super helpful and polite. Great selection of teas. Enjoyed the food.
Incredibly hit and miss on the fruit and vegetables, no matter what time you go. Sometimes you'll have stuff with fairly decent dates, and other times you're lucky to find anything with more than a day or two on it. Rotten fruit and veg mixed in with the fresh stuff, doesn't appear to have anyone looking after the area. Also, have waited for ten minutes before now to be served only to be told that the person is on their break. That's all well and good, but get someone to cover it, surely! Only the other week, the member of staff told me and another customer we would have to wait whilst she got the bacon baps done. So we stood and watched her for five minutes whilst she did that, when she could have served us both in less than that time. Went to the fish counter the other day, to be told yet again that the person was on their break, so had to wait another five minutes there. What specialist training is required to serve fish that does not need filleting? How hard is it to put up a sign that says 'Back in 5 minutes'? Can't complain at the prices though, and the tills are usually pretty quick. Parking is never an issue either which does mean that if we're not having to wait for counter staff breaks to be over, a weekly shop takes an hour with the drive there and back.
