Been using Sang Lee for years now. Ordered tonight, got the honey roast pork in bbq sauce, opened the container the pork stank! Was well and truly off. Phoned them to complain lady said “thank you I’ll tell the chef”. Well if the chef didn’t realise the pork was off the A&E at Whitechapel will be busy later tonight. Disgusting! I’m done with them now. Only got one star because wouldn’t let me post with none!
Very good price and friendly customer service. This was our first time ordering from here and wont be our last. Great quality food at a lower price than other places in the area. We took a chance ordering here, as there were no reviews since 6 months ago, so wasnt even sure if they were still open! But I was very pleased we did, because we have now found a new favourite.
Great service but unfortunately one of the worst Chinese takeaways I’ve ever had. I had to throw away the chow mein and crispy chilli beef they were that bad. Really disappointing!

Came across it by accident and it’s one of the best Chinese I’ve had in years. Lovely service, amazing food.
Worst food ever. Tasted cheap and not much flavour. Didn’t like any of it. Next day was vomiting all day. Do not recommend. Staff at this shop are lovely people but the food was just not good at all.
I've been going in here for far to long to remember, from back when it ws a restaurant many years ago. By far the best Chinese takeaway in the area. Still ran by the same great people. Tip: if you are ordering a delivery, give yourself plenty of time, it can take awhile when they are very busy but it's definitely worth the wait.
The worst Chinese I ever eat! The bbq sause was like water. The prawn toast was burnt. The curry sauce was think and lumpy. Sweet and sour tasted like vomit. Literally eating it was making me feel sick! Everyone ended up with bellyache.
Been using sanglee for over 35 years wouldbt eat anywhere else Great food Amazing service Lovely hardworking family The best chinese in east london If there was 10 stars i would give 11
