Don’t trust their opening hours. They don’t keep them updated. Closed for the whole season. As visitors to Exeter, we had some tasks to do in town, then the highlight / reward for the children was going to be this place. And a break for us. But the owners hadn’t spent 2 minutes updating the opening hours which means when we got there, the kids were really upset, and the little one had a tantrum of course as they didn’t understand why the cafe wasn’t open at all. I would have thought owners of a place like this would understand how important it is to have accurate information for parent planning. These days google maps even emails the business owners to remind them to update seasonal hours, but I guess this cafe chose to ignore that email.
Whenever I've been in there, there's not actually much there for my son 10 months old to play with as most of the space is given over to selling clothes. He did enjoy the toy kitchen and cupboards though. The cakes and coffee are nice. Could be better if more to interact with and then the adults could stay and relax longer.
Great place for kids to play while you have a nice coffee, one the best in town actually. Great handmade desserts and snacks, vegan and vegetarians options availabe. They sell as well children and baby products and clothes that are eco friendly, responsibly made. A great asset for the community, we need more people like them..
Brilliant place for taking my boys to. Great stop off to grab a coffee without needing to worry about the kids being too noisy or running off. Toilet/changing facilities very generous and clean! Just one star subtracted as I’d love to see a greater variety of toys!
We had a Birthday party for our 1 year old and it was brilliantly organised. Parents were cared for and could sit down and have a cuppa while kids played with lots of toys. Lots of nice wooden toys, kitchen, blocks, etc to keep the kids busy. Had a lovely cake and plenty of healthy finger food for kids too. Would definitely recommend! Everyone said they had great time!
Great place I love their milkshakes and I hope they add a morbius morbing milkshake soon! The staff was very friendly and the prices are great. Highly recommend going with your children very cool very nice. Binley mega chippy
Nice friendly cafe, feedback about drinks given in person hence losing a few stars. Lots of toys for kids to play with of all ages, books to read and suitable high chairs. Just unfortunate about the coffee part of our visit. Will likely give another try in the future and will update review if different.
Great place for kids to play and parents to enjoy a coffee and cake! A small but tasty menu of food.
Amazing place to take your kids. Staff very attentive. Very close to the popular tourist attraction binley mega chippy where you can get a morbin meal.
Lovely play cafe but food is a bit overpriced for what they serve.
