Not nice food, but friendly staff. Pasta was swimming in sea of juice and very salty. Pizza was doughy, ham was extremely thickly cut and looked as if it had been around a while. Won't be going again.
NOW CLOSED DUE TO REDEVELOPMENT Under new ownership and it's really good. I heartily recommend the full English breakfast and their speciality, the Welsh rarebit - with a glass of Pinot.
Amazing Waitresses Who have good taste in films but were under the rule of a sub standard manager. My 2 daughters 7 and 9 told me afterwords that "The manager scared us Daddy"
When we go to Exeter, we always go to the milkmaid for a cake and a iced coffee, they use ice cream in the coffee unlike others who use ice cubes yuk, nice friendly staff.
