Stayed around the corner in a cottage Herdie Hideaway. Sandford arms is a nice place. Good beer. Food delicious. Sunday Dinner spot on. A jewel in the village.
Did not stay in the rooms but turned up in my camper asked at bar if OK to stay they said OK as I was having food aswell. Good food nice beer I emptied the draft beer they had on which was very nice
We stayed here to attend a wedding and the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. The breakfast service was superb with tasty bacon plus LOTS of classic breakfast fare, so much so I didn't even notice the missing hash browns until the next day when the honest host confirmed he had just forgotten to serve them. A good place to stay. Rooms: Ours was a little tired. For example a loose wardrobe knob, a wobbly toilet seat and unprofessional decorating.
Lovely village pub. Can't comment on the food too much but the drinks are decent and the chips are delicious. Perfect little stop-off when on a walk. The staff are lovely as well Service: 5/5
Great little spot, friendly staff. Plenty of outdoor seating for summer evening drinks. Nice rotation of guest ales. Food is on point. Sandford burger I had was lush. Would definitely come again.Service: 5/5
