I have had a few pairs of SW shoes and a few other bits like linen suits etc over the years but this appears to be when they were made of better materials. The shoes I’ve got fit well and are comfortable, but I don’t think I will buy from them again given other reviews that the quality has reduced. It’s also such a shame they appear to have stopped selling everything else they used to sell.
The Leather hand made slippers look great and at nearly £40 should be. They are nowhere near the quality and longevity of the originals. Mine, bought from the previous owners of SW, to replace a worn pair, that were nearly ten years old and still going strong, lasted only fourteen months before the sole of one of them split. Before buying a pair, ask SW how long they expect the slippers to last.
I bought three pairs of shoes/boots from Samuel Windsor. I have been happy each time, especially with the boot, on which I get complimented regularly.

Lovely upmarket shoe store, I purchased some very beautiful shoes from here, which look fantastic.
My order arrived promptly but unfortunately I had to return all the trousers as they did not fit or looked right on my Father-in law. I sent back 5 pairs of trousers which were all correctly itemised on the returns paperwork but I only got a refund for 2 pairs! It wasn’t until my credit card statement came through, which I always double check and cross reference against any transactions, that I realised I had only been credited for 2 out of 5 pair of trousers - £41.00 difference! I have spoken to the company and they realise this has been their mistake and have raised another credit for the £41.00. For anyone out there please always keep you paper work to double check refunds have been raised correctly.
I would avoid placing an order with this company. I placed an order for a Tweed jacket and waistcoat as a 60th birthday gift. I placed the order and paid for it online and received an order acknowledgement including confirmation that I had paid by credit/debit card. A few days later I received an e-mail apologising that they had no stock of this item and would refund my money. I replied asking them if they knew when the stock would be arriving to which I had no reply. Approx a week later the goods turned up. The company then managed to confuse me account with that of my parents and started sending my 83 year old mother demanding letters for payment of not only the original amount but another £43.61. They also enclosed payments demands for another customer in the letter. When I telephoned them it transpired that the original payment had for some reason not gone through despite the confirmation e-mail. The lady who dealt with the whole matter seriously needs some lessons in customer service as she barely apologised for the countless errors on their behalf - if you want to order goods from an efficient and polite company do not choose Samuel Windsor
Is there a brick and mortar store? I've ordered only online a couple of times: their leather products of particularly good quality. Customer service was also good in rectifying a faulty item. However, disapprove that they disappointingly are only reachable via premium phone. Search up WeQ4U if needed to call them.
Bought some shoes for my dad recently. Really lovely, good quality shoes. He absolutely loved them!!
Worst customer service I have ever received paid for sat delivery called on sat to be informed items were not dispatched. called on Monday told again items were not dispatched because some were out of stock DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS BUSINESS
