Don't usually use asda but was in the area for a night so popped in for some stuff. Good, clean store. Good range of products. Lovely lady on checkout. Plenty of parking.
Hi Tasha. This incident took place on either Saturday 5th or Sunday 6th November around 2pm I was there both days so not exactly sure. Have you asked Chris the manager I spoke to? As for the follow up it's not I want to know details it's the fact I wanted my complaint taken seriously and followed through and as of yet I'd say no it hasn't. Customer complaints are ignored at Asda and there's a bad attitude to a certain demographic of customers. I walked past a lady knocking down prices on dated chicken on a trolley, she was stood there talking to a colleague. I asked her how much the chickens were and she said " I'm going to put them on the shelf now so you can go look for yourself" I said how rude are you, at this point she was already walking away from me muttering something under her breath. I was stunned for a second walking away then I thought I'm not having this I want her name. When I got to her she was stood laughing with the colleague she was talking to earlier, I can only assume her being rude amused them both. I asked for her name when she lifted her badge shouting "Moira it's Moira that's my name" I went to customer services to complain. I spoke to a manager named Chris, he listened to my complaint agreed with me she shouldn't have spoken to me like that and then said "we get a lot of people here that just want to buy the discounted food sometimes they wait for 2hrs but I can see you're not one of them we know them by their faces." I again was shocked by his response, so does Asda have a culture of it's okay to be rude as long as it's a certain demographic of customer? He said he would talk to her thanked me for being so understanding and I gave him my number because I wanted him to follow up with me what's happened. I'm still waiting Chris.
I spend a lot of time in Skelmersdale where I often shop at Asda. On 25th September this year I bought a Tower product, Unfortunately the product was unsuitable. The response from the company was completely unhelpful. I couldn't find the receipt and so I asked my partner, who lives in the area to speak to your customer services and can only say how absolutely wonderful Adele was. Adele was not phased and found a way to resolve the problem, her manner was very pleasant, a total gem. Thank you so much Adele.
PETROL! I have kept an eye on the fuel prices of this asda for a while now as of today its 7p per litre more than an asda in Birchwood warrington and many others I know, this needs to change Skelmersdale is being ripped off!
Its an asda store, they want your money. Staff are always helpful. Why is your petrol prices more than the surrounding area by 5 and 6 pence
I love visiting any ASDA I have ever been too. & In my opinion. There r so much choice on everything
One of most tragic place… you never find proper price for products what u want buy. They don’t care. So If you can avoid this place.
Clean well stocked.... Click and collect is always good with staff willing to help
Generally nice staff apart from the pizza counter where ASDA have employed possibly the most miserable women I have ever met. Ladies you do know that you are providing a service to customers who are buying products to keep you in work right? If you hate it so much apply for another job. They speak to you rudely, like you shouldn't be asking for a pizza in the first place. I ended up putting mine back and walking out after being told they only do garlic bread when it turns up. Had to force that answer out of her as well. Shame as other staff members have been nice. Roll on Lidl opening day, A cheaper and more pleasant experience awaits I am sure.
Used to use them once or twice a week. Since Covid and the mask issues have not bothered using them as there was better alternatives and still is.
