Great shopping experience! Especially loved the massage chair at the kids climbing frame.
Underrated, the Concourse is a good shopping centre! Siesta Coffee is amazing recommending the mocha and I went when the local maker's market was on & there were some lovely stalls! I bought a pair of clip-on earrings at one of the stalls that were nice, comfortable, and good value. Also the cinema is a hidden gem, it's wonderful!
Seems soulless with the empty and closed down shops. No greenery, teenagers on bikes and strangely a lot of young teens sat on the floor in random areas. Plenty of free parking, and overall it's tidy and clean....just lacking in vibrancy and a positive ambiance. A place to go in and get out and not hang around
As my town centre is rubbish I am exploring other places not too far away. Loved that the bus drops you at the front door - all towns should be like this. I will definitely be visiting again. Wigan could learn a lot from this and other places I have visited.
What to say, I don't usually give bad reviews but this place is an absolute dump it's like walking round Dawn of the dead, the only difference is atleast the shops in Dawn of the dead are half decent. If youre depressed don't go because it may tip you I've the edge.
Seems to have everything needed for a shopping centre. Clean and safe. Large indoor carpark. Also a walk in medical centre.
Was surprised at the number of stores & their open. Clean environment, parking easy. We will return.
Always a good bargain to be found at the Concourse shopping centre, good stores like Home&Bargains, Wilko's, New Look, Poundland, Iceland & many more with very reasonable prices with helpful & friendly staff also a good florist downstairs selling gifts & other items.
Not nice at all. A dark, dimly lit, depressing place. The usual mix of high-Street, down market stores. Poundland, also, home bargains etc. As an outsider I'm like anyone else with my preconceptions of Skelmersdale. This shopping centre just seemed to confirm those preconceptions very aptly.
Called in to have a covid booster at the Wellbeing centre and found the most amazing fruit and veg shop. Sold fresh local produce at a very good price.
