We picked up a takeaway fish and chips and it was very tasty. I'm allergy to gluten so my partner and I both got gluten-free and he didn't notice, the batter was still delicious and crispy. Friendly couple of chaps that I chatted to while they finished preparing our food. Would order again.
Very nice food and good service. Only giving you 3 stars because I observed one member of staff going into loo with blue glove on and also came out with same glove on. As a chef myself for over 40 years this is not a good thing to see. I'm sure he would have washed hands but who knows needs more training I think
Popped in tonight for a takeaway felt so sorry for both the guys on shift , they were so busy that they were snowed under and more staff were required, however my hunters chicken was amazing, thank you so much. It was worth the wait. Keep up the amazing work
Hands down one of the best fish and chips I’ve had. Manchester a bit far to travel to make it my regular. Highly recommended. Staff are polite and friendly. Good prices and the place looks spotless. Well done guys!
We went Wednesday 14 October 2020 to try this because of gluten free menu. We weren't disappointed. The fish was delicious. So much so we went back the night after. It was superb. Staff were great. Thank you.
What a 'chippy'! A totally traditional chip shop with a twist. Just behind the take away are about 6 tables. You can order the usual chip shop fare; lovely fish and chips, jumbo sausage etc, bread and butter and beer, wine, prosecco. A total treat. And all topped off with friendly, casual not lax service. Loved it.
Classic bit excellent cod or haddock and chips, or the fresh fish of the day from the local marked, cooked as you wish. Unbelievably tasty, fresh and yummy! Love this!
Dangerous offer of unlimited chips! Ate here after finding Torquay heaving and unpleasant, found quiet and good food here. Service v good esp from the females boy forgot tap water. Good range of fish and specials and vegetarian options. And excellent curry sauce.
