Used to be a nice fish and chip shop. Tonight the staff were not the usual staff, very unfriendly, said they close at 20:45 so not cooking more food just after 20:30. Therefore, unable to get anything. They then left at 20:55 with their own food. I assume they have been taken over or just employ poor staff now? Also, apparently shut at 20:00 on a Saturday? Really? Shame, wont be going back there.

Very rude person tonight, don’t rarely go and probably won’t be again. No need to be rude and got nothing to do with being busy she’s been the same when they’re hasn’t been anyone in there. Short lady reddish hair, tied up. No manners clearly not trained on customer service although they probably don’t care as enough people go there. God knows why it’s not even that good.
Paid £10.80 for regular fish and chips with a large chips and two sausages, the chips were covered in fish batter like they were cooked together and the chips were really Fatty, we only popped in as it was on the way to the holiday camp. Not a very pleasant meal!

Always good fish and chips from Paul's Plaice. The chips are amazing as they are battered. Lush fish too! Cash only but there is a cashpoint just a few doors down.
