Saltburn pier is situated off the lower promanade. The quickest and easiest way to get down the cliff to the pier is via the lift. Victorian engineering at it's best.

A relaxing place to be. Great if it's not too cold or too windy. Amusement Arcade at the entrance where you can dispose of your unwanted 2p pieces or win miles of tickets which you can exchange for a toy for the kids.

Lovely long pier with a surviving Victorian water powered cliff lift at the end. Great fish and chips right next to the pier. Brilliant views North and South and a good spot for fishing, boat watching or checking out the surfing skills. Dogs are welcome on that part of the beach over the winter.

Great place to bring the family. Making improvements every month. Now even great beach huts for hire. And taking care of the Victorian Tram way.
