Nice caravan park, very peaceful and relaxing. Situated in a quiet part of Saltburn, between a wooded area and the coast, the town is only 10 min walk. We hired a caravan for a week at a very reasonable rate, would recommend to get away from the daily stress of your normal life. We found it very relaxing here. You can have a walk in the woods, a walk to the beach and pier, or a walk into the town, all close by. But a word of warning if you have walking difficulties, this might not be the best place for you, there are a lot of challenging hills on these walks.
We stayed in this lovely static caravan for a few days. It's around 10 minutes walk to the lower promenade.. and that's with me being in crutches!!! The area is nice, with friendly people all around, and the caravan was great. We're already planning our next visit. Thank you so much.
We are a Residential Park Home owner at Hazelgrove. Beautiful place to live all the people we have meet are helpful and friendly. It should be pointed out that Hazelgrove was a Holiday Park but at present it is Residential and a Holiday Park. At present there are over 100 Residential Homes and more arriving by the month. We have lived here of 7 months. Great retirement home all your requirements within a 10 min walk.
It used to be the most beautiful caravan park full of wonderful people until they turfed them off to make way for the plywood pre fabs that replaced them. It's undoubtedly had a negative impact on the community but thankfully saltburn is like the mighty redcar and it is very resilient and won't take things lying down. Greedy commercial enterprise will never beat it.
Living on this Tingdene Park is just fantastic. Situated close by to Saltburn by the Sea with the great cafes, restaurants and bars. Retirement so close to the sea is as near perfect as you can get.
What fantastic experience we had yesterday at Hazelgrove Caravan Park. A beautiful, well laid out setting with top of the range well spaced out homes. Looking forward to our next visit there to see our good friends
Horrible owners, they no longer want static caravans on this site, only park homes. So they make life as awkward as possible for the people who own caravans and charge extortionate prices. Lovely place to visit, but never buy a caravan here.
No consideration to guests Saturday and Sunday builders with big digger and dump truck started work at 8 o'clock in the morning. Not much of a break when all you get woken upto I'd diesel engines and work mem shouting at each other
Saltburn is a lovely place to have a caravan, but beware of Hazlegrove Park's Salesman/Site Manager, Mr David Wignall. While he's there I would advise to avoid investing any money at the park, take the time to speak to caravan owners about his behavoir, dont take my word, do some research! If you decide to relocate, as I did, then expext to find moving your van an unplesant experience, I paid £600 to Tingdene Parks not negotiable to move my caravan to corner of site, ready for lowloader to pick it up, Mr Wignall instructed his staff to leave it on the park lane. Thankfully Don Lambert with his lowloader worked his magic and removed the van from the site without any damage to it. MrLambert has had previous bad experiences at Hazlegrove, while dealing with David Wignall, and will not carry out any more work there. Tingdene Parks couldnt have cared less, they are selling the park homes, which is their main concern, the running of the caravan side of the park is a low priority.
Lovely and quiet place recommend it
