New surface and layout has a glaring error! Motorcycle spaces suitable for a unicycle and placed right behind parked cars who cannot stand behind car or van to get in boot if bikes park there. Asking to be backed into and i would certainly not park my expensive machine there. Why did they not just put it in a corner near camper spaces so as to be out of harms way? Muppets....... .
A bit expensive but at least the toilets were free. Good position for the Valley Walk, good sized spaces and well marked pedestrian walk ways.
Another great find for campervan parking...theres a toilet on site and a tower CCTV camera watching...helping us stay safe..
Some soft people posting on this. Saltburn is very small and picturesque and there is free parking up the hill into town with a footpath ramp to the lower prom at the north end of town. Parking charges are one hour for £2.50, two hours for £3.50 and a day £6. The cliff lift isn't running this year. Trains don't run weekdays and at the end of the line no indication of which woodland footpath leads to the cafe. The park is lovely for kids but the seafront and pier barely warrant an hours parking cost unless the weather is nice.
Great stay over. Well done local council for providing this facility very progressive.
We got there at 10.30 on a very wet & rainy Saturday and the car park was almost full. After 11.00 it was chock full. So get there early and bring COINS for the parking meter. £6 for 24hrs which is good as it's literally a 2 minute to the promenade.
Perfect location and reasonably priced. £2 for 2 hours or £6 for the day. It is next to the mini train station, park and across food corner. The public toilets are also right beside the parking. FYI The toilets close at 7 pm. and are regularly cleaned. There is also baby changin room there. Across the road is the beach.
Very convenient car park right next to beach short walk to the promenade and pier
This is the first time I've reviewed a car park so here goes! I don't remember a lot about this location so I had to google it to bring back the memories. This was the final stop on a 50km walk across the Cleveland Way. Suffice to say we were pretty tired by this point and didn't have the time/energy to take in how beautiful this car park actually is. It looks quite idyllic and would appear to serve as a perfect compliment to the corresponding CatNabFishBar. However since I only entered this car park to be picked up I can't comment on restrictions, costs or congestion.
The car park is always clean and well maintained. It’s conveniently positioned for the seafront, cliff top walkways or the lovely park. There are public toilets which are also clean and well maintained including disabled access. The car park also has a few very useful and informative signs giving information and suggestions for local attractions.
