Had a wander along the riverfront today from Saltash station. Nice riverside stroll beside the Tamar. I love the Union Inn with it's Union Flag paintwork. Some interesting murals and photos from WW2.

An Alright Station in Beautiful Cornwall, I loved the view of the bridge from the station, and the area has a lovely pier at the bottom and some brilliant pubs as well as a lovely town, I recommend anyone in cornwall to take a trip here.nnAs for the station, I wasn't so impressed with the facilities but it does it's job.

Lovely Station trains always on time. Nice waiting rooms. Lovely staff on trains. Nice Royal Albert Bridge for the GWR trains to go over the River Tamar on. New waiting room and cafe being built and due march-may. I will include photos of station as I get it daily from Par.

Lovely little town. Very friendly. Also lots of history to the place.nnThe Waterside is great and there are some lovely walks too.

Saltash Railway station. Is the first and last in Cornwall and sits at the western end of Brunel's Royal Albert Bridge. Regular services to Plymouth  platform 1} for express services to London and also local services into Cornwall.  plat 2nThere are no ticket machines, toilets or dot matrix indicators but there are shelters and help points on both platforms.nThe station has nicely decorated and planted boats and the gardens are well maintained. The platforms give great views of trains coming off the bridge.
