As a vegan with gluten and dairy allergies you can imagine my excitement to actually find somewhere to eat out!!! The staff where very friendly and approachable. The food was extremely fresh and tasty. I had a delicious Penang curry with chips followed by a chocolate cake. A wonderful bonus to The Salad Bowl is the wonderful views overlooking the sea. I can't wait to return.

Just a cafe where we stopped and had a hot drink. Not bad, the drink was good but the prices a little less so! Why do hot drinks cost £2+ when the ingredients cost so little? Still we needed it after walking along the front for an hour or so. February brrr.

Glad we found this place and decided to stop by. Great friendly welcome, great extensive choice of food and drinks on menu and very reasonably priced. Lovely views either across bowling greens or out to sea! Friendly service, food is excellent (we had range of bacon sandwich, cod in batter, burger, and gammon ham baguette). Waitress apologised we had not been given enough chips and salad than they normally do, and offered us more. Even got a friendly thank you from three of the staff on leaving. You probably have established by now - would highly recommend

Spent a very ha happy hour over our meal, watching the bowlers from the window, food very good
