Chives Brasserie

My favourite restaurant in Hunstanton. Always had a nice meal there. Not the cheapest place for a meal in the area but well worth it and different to the offerings from the other cafes and restaurants nearby.

Popped in for a quick cup of tea. Excellent staff. Comfortable venue. Determined to return for an evening meal.

Would not go here again. Booked a table for 7.30 no table available an hour later still no starter. We asked for some water nothing appeared. We ordered 4 venison stroganoff to be told they only had 2. Once it finally 2 beef 2 venison it was very tough. No one came to see if everything was ok or if we would like any more drinks. We asked to speak to the duty manager who said he would sort it. The waitress then came back with a bill, no explanation of what they had done, no would you like a dessert or coffee. Terrible service, cold all evening will never go back. Had to go to the pub round the corner to warm up!!!

Simply wow. Ordered 2 different types of pizza, one was delicious and the other (the duck) was utterly outstanding and something that we'll be talking about for a long long time to come. An excellent selection of Gins and some great deserts. I just think it's a shame that we don't live in Hunstanton or we'd be here on a weekly basis.

Very nice food and friendly staff. Good meal deal on Tuesday night.
