Went in to buy a drink at 16:40 today sign says closes at 5pm walked into the petrol station shop, all the lights were off. Said to the cashier “Can I just pay for the drink please” to which the other cashier shouted at me “you can take what you want darling as long as you hurry up and get out as we want to go home!” Cannot believe this is how your employees talk to people.
Called to see if I left my bank card at the petrol station and phone 47 times and they still won’t answer the phone.
Fuel prices best in the area, however calling you sir but repeatedly being obnoxious and arrogant isn't acceptable. Not everyone carrys change around so to use your air machine we require cash back or an atm at the garage. Not to have your staff being rude and blunt about going to the main store to use the atm. When a driver needs an air machine its normal because they have a safety concern. So my advice use pay at pump and don't let staff having a bad day affect yours and get air else where if you have no change
As petrol stations go, it was a good one. I'm in awe of the fact that you can review a petrol station on here. What am I supposed to say? The selection of petrols on offer was generous? I found the ease of pump usage particularly good? Honestly! I took my car, I put in £40 of unleaded, paid and left. It was superb.
Best prices locally. But drivers seem to lose their logic and manners once inside. Layout means that often queues go way past both roundabouts, when all the person up front has to do is pick a pump and move up!! But they don't. They sit there with twenty cars behind them so they can have the pick of all the pumps.. MOVE UP!! It's not hard is it? For this reason, which is not the staff's fault, it's always a stressful visit.
Was packed when got there finely got petrol and also have pumps with pay and drive way that helps if in rush
This is usually one of the cheapest places to buy fuel in town and it's close enough to the motorway that a quick divert gets your here. The shop does the usual fare coffee-to-go and basic groceries. Peak times you can wait for a while until a pump is free but that's the same all over right? There's a tyre pressure and water station and some parking if you just want to use the shop and not block a pump. Though "van man" often ignores these :-. It's also far enough off the supermarket main site that it doesn't tend to get too congested unless the place is at peak time and genuinely busy. Only minor difficulty is getting back on to the main roundabout as the run from the motorway direction can get very busy. I tend to fuel my car here regularly.
Pretty much often the cheapest and easily accessible,...... Trade off is the que to get filled up as pretty much everyone local knows it's a cheap fueling station. And from other local areas it's also nearest to the A2. Don't expect smiles but honestly.... Getting fuel is a chore and you never really want to let go of the money lol
Petrol is expensive everywhere, governments are funded by the tax they cream off it. But Sainsburuys do their best to keep costs down. Love the "pay at the pump" pumps.
Take forever to authorize to pump fuel. Gives you lower mpg at least my car complained. There are no "No smoking" signs in the vicinity and if you get caught smoking just outside the of the station you are bound to be treated like if you are a criminal. Not to mention the threats of being fined because you did a small mistake. Rude staff that threaten you and then if you try to talk to them they will turn their back at you and ignore you. Unfortunately I had to visit this station without any other options but I will ensure that I never use a Sainsbury's station again even if they have 50% cheaper fuel!! Just not worth it because of the fuel and staff.
